Earlier this year, I moved my website hosting to SiteGround. I could not have been happier! The transition has been smooth, the tech support is wonderful, and the website speed / security has improved.
How to sign up for SiteGround Website Hosting or WordPress Hosting
1. Choose your hosting plan
SiteGround has three plans and you can sign for any of them with a great discount to get you started.
- The StartUp plan is perfect for people with one website that are starting now.
- The GrowBig plan is a great value for money offer, including the option for multiple websites and the SuperCacher that greatly improves a WordPress.
If you are considering hosting multiple WordPress websites, this is the one to go for!
- The GoGeek plan is perfect for people with e-commerce and larger sites, or more geeky development needs like staging. Although, the GrowBig plan will work for most businesses, you can upgrade to GoGeek in the future if you would like.
Step 2. Choosing Domain
Clients can choose to buy a new domain, or sign up with an existing domain. If you have an existing WordPress website, you can have them transfer it to SiteGround account and is included in your package. If you will be starting a new WordPress website for your business, you can uncheck this box.
Step 3. Review and Complete
The advertised discount applies to any of the initial periods chosen during the sign up process. So sign up for the longest period of time that fits your budget to get the biggest savings. Up to 3 years! Imagine saving on website hosting for 3 years! Ya, I got it too!
In most cases you won’t need the SSL certificate or the SG Site Scanner and that is optional. Proceed with the Pay Now button and complete the transaction. Any questions, let me know.
